Goodness, you're obviously new to piggies! It's not crying, this means that they want food! They love being fed and watered (Not literally, like with a watering can) which is why when they get used to hearing a particular sound, like a bag rustling, they think it's food, so they squeak. Don't believe them though, they're little liars most of the time and they're extremely greedy. Stick to your feeding schedule and you'll have some healthy, happy pigs.

if it is weeping when u pet them then that can mean its happy. they will make a loud sharp weep when there scared or hurt.

If your guinea-pig has weeping eyes, it has a medical condition affecting its eyes and should be checked by a vet.
