All guinea pigs have their own, individual personality. It could be because it is more comfortable on the house, or they just like the view. Also, guinea pigs like to be clean, so if the ground below is filthy, they wouldn't want to lie down on that would they?
they hop when they are happy and comfortable
idk but mine did too. she had a castle like one. she would flip it over and sit in it. i guess its normal
The side because they are the same. The top because they are different.
Guinea pigs are cuddly rodents, and they are probably the only kind of rodent that doesn't have a tail. they can be of all different colors besides pink, purple and blue, and they have ears like a mouse. they have 4 paws, and some have black eyes and some have red eyes, it depends on if it's albino or not. they have 4 teeth, 2 on the top and 2 on the bottom. they also have wiskers and cute little noses. full grown guinea pigs are about a foot long, and the largest guinea pig is the size of a football, and i must say, looks like one ;D
Most cats are okay to have around your guinea pigs. Believe me, I have three cats and three guinea pigs. The guinea pigs are only mildly interested and the cats are actually unnerved by them! Hope this helps! Also, I have a homemade cage with no top and sometimes the cats will sleep IN the cage, the guinea pigs will just ignore them.
Your little pig may not be o.k. I'm not professorially sure but i think guinea pigs don't lose their teeth so you should talk to your local or personal vet.
Guinea pigs make various sounds depending on the situation. They purr when they are happy and content. They squeal softly when they want attention or a treat. They squeal loudly when frightened. They click their teeth when they are angry. guinea pigs do make alot of nosies and they are so cute when they make noises but they do get annoying but DON'T HURT THEM
the top then house pets are: dogs cats turtles guinea pigs birds rabbits [ if you have a licence for one ] crabs fish mice snakes [ if you have a licence for one ]
Guinea pigs don't need a top on their cage but SOME because some are climbers or if you have a cat you might want to consider a top. You don't NEED a top unless you want one! ^^
Guinea pigs only sleep for about 6 minutes a day, unless your hamster runs around 24/7 it wont keep them up.

If a guinea pig losses it's front teeth it could chew with their back teeth.
I would have to say fleece is better. It cuts down on the dust for guinea pigs, the bedding does not get stuck in their fur, it is easy on their feet, and the top always stays dry. Note: Do not use regular detergent to wash fleece. Use vinegar and a gentle, scent free detergent (like oxy clean or tide free). Also, fleece is more effective if your guinea pigs' cage is large and there are not many guinea pigs (1-3 guinea pigs). MAKE SURE YOU GET EVERYTHING OFF THE FLEECE BEFORE YOU WASH. Your guinea pigs will be as happy as ever with fleece.

ask a petstore person
Since pigs are a prey species, they can run at top speed in just a few strides. Domestic pigs can attain a top speed of 11mph while a wild boar can attain a top speed of 15mph.
