At times its because one is attempting to gain dominance. only if one dog is not able to move the next day and is hurting other people Dogs see chicken and guineas as prey. Back in the old ages, they were breed for hunting rats and game fowl. Dogs have natural instincts to catch and eat them.. Chickens in particular are often killed by dogs. If your dog is a hunting dog, like a Labrador, it would be very hard to teach them to refuse the killing instinct. XD
