There are lots of theories, and I'm no expert, but I'll give you some of my opinions:

  • It's pretty easy to tell that some cartoon animals were drawn to be attractive. It's obvious the animators wanted Lola Bunny from the movie "Space Jam" to be attractive. It's also obvious that the developers at Rare wanted Krystal from the Star Fox games to be attractive. In fact, the character is so popular that it spawned the popular internet phrase: "Dude, it's okay - everyone's furry for Krystal." Most attractive furries were designed to be attractive, so don't blame yourself (or someone else) if you think they can be hot!
  • Some kids grow up having crushes on cartoon characters, and not all of those characters are human. Sometimes they're animals; to a child, there may be no real difference between human and animal cartoon characters. If it can walk and talk, then to a kid, it's pretty much human. As the child matures and reaches puberty, it's possible that the attraction one feels towards cartoon characters, animal or otherwise, will not diminish, but rather, intensify. That same attraction can naturally mature from "puppy love" to an honest sexual curiosity and attraction. It's pretty natural when you think about it.
  • Furries are, by definition, animals with human like qualities. I can't believe how many people tend to overlook this fact, but it's usually the human attributes that people find attractive in a furry. Whether it's the eyes, or the figure, or the breasts/legs, whatever - it's generally the human anatomy that people are attracted to. It may also be the cuteness factor, if you find cute things/people to be attractive. But of course, we can't rule out....
  • ...good old fashioned zoophilia. This is probably the least likely cause of attraction. Most furries don't want to copulate with actual animals. Most of them simply like cartoon anthros.

Those are just a few answers to this very broad and controversial topic. I hope I was able to provide some insight for you!

My theory is that is because of archetypes. The conjugal act frequently involves a form of art. Being that animals may symbolize a certain personalitythe sexual act may symbolize a "beautiful" conjunction of 2 matching

personalities.

Are furries demonic?

Not necessarily I'm a furry and I don't worship demons. People in the furry community differ greatly, they can range from perverted freaks to perfectly normal people. I like to think I'm plenty normal. Furries are like any other group, including "normal" people. there will be weirdos and there will be normal people. Furries are no different in this aspect. however I will say that in furries i do see a lot of deists, but very few atheists and no really demonic worshiping at all. My theory about what makes people hate furries so much is the large amount of gays associated with the fandom.

Are all furries gay?

No. Most furries do not involve any kind of sexuality with their being part of the fandom at all anyway despite what a lot of people think.
