What implies the wife of Bath is not as worthy or virtues as the speaker first indicates?

I don't know anywhere that Chaucer suggests Alysoun was 'virtuous' (not in the normal sense of the word). But he certainly tells us: Housbondes at chirche dore she hadde fyve Withouten oother compaignye in youthe (Prologue: line 460). This tells us that Alysoun had been married five times (quite a few marriages, even by medieval standards), and suggests that there had been quite a few other men in her life. There is strong implication here that Alysoun enjoys male company - a suggestion that is fully endorsed by the subject matter of her tale. Alysoun is a girl that gets around. Medieval England would not have disapproved of this as much as modern bourgeois America; but even in Chaucer's time Alysoun's hearty appetite for men would have raised eyebrows.

What are rare dates for US silver dollars?

Silver dollars were struck from 1794 to 1935 so that's a very broad question. There are a number of dates that are common in worn condition but scarce in higher grades as well so a full accounting can be very complex. Please see the Related Links for specific prices.Among the more recent types:Peace Dollars:1921, 1928, 1934-SMorgan Dollars:1879-CC, 1880-CC, 1881-CC, 1889-CC, 1893, 1893-O, 1893-CC, 1894, 1895 (extremely rare), and 1903-OOther types:> "1804" dollars are considered to be the king of American coins. 1804 is in quotes because the coins were actually made in the 1830s but are still U.S. Mint issues. Auction prices have been as high as $7 million.> Any other dates from 1794 to 1803 are very scarce as well, but with much lower values - $1100 to $1.2 million depending on date and condition.> 1836-1839 "Gobrecht" design Liberty Seated dollars> 1851, 1852, 1870-S Liberty Seated dollars
