It's depends on what kind of cat it is and it's past. if it had a bad past it would probably be anti-social. and if it's a cat species that not as social as other kinds ( although most cats like attention)it might not like to be center of attention. or maybe theway you pick him or her up hurts the cat

Rabbits are not really tame when they are born. Taming is done by humans. They squirm because they are trying to get away because they are afraid. Answer Even 'tamed' rabbits do not enjoy being picked up in the main! Rabbits are prey animals, their instinct tells them when their feet leave the floor that they are about to die. They will do everything to they can to get away from you and get their feet back onto terra-firma.

If when you pick up your bunny you bring their feet to your chest this may make them feel more secure (as it means they are basically standing on your chest area with their feet firmly planted) but beware of bunnies that will leap over the should in this position.

The best place to pet your bunny is on the floor... much safer for all concerned, and after all, how would we like it if some giant several times larger than us plucked us up from the ground for a cuddle whenever they felt like it.

To pick up a rabbit just gently put one hand on each side of the rabbit's belly. Then just pull very slowly, put one hand under the whole rabbit. Take your other hand and put it on the outside of the rabbit.

Gently grasp the scruff of the neck (for control only) with your right hand, slide your left hand under the rabbit's hindquarters and lift supporting all of the bunny's weight with your left hand. Gently tuck the rabbit's head under your arm pit and support the rabbit's weight along your arm and hand and up against your left side. If your rabbit trusts you, you will eventually be able to pick it up without using the scruff of the neck.

When you first get a Guinea pig for the first few days or maybe a week or even more, it is normal for him (or her) to not want to be picked up. If you start petting him (or her) in they're cage for a while and talk to them and feed them from your hands sometimes, they'll get used to you and then you might be able to pick him up. Some guinea never really will like getting picked up. When you are holding one, hold him with one hand under his bottom and the other hand holding him securely to your chest. Don't hold him out, because they don't like being held like that. And they don't usually like being carried. But every one is different!

Rabbits are prey. As such, they are very much stressed by being picked up as they cannot flee if something happens (and also fears they will be eaten by you!). They are most comfortable with 4 paws on earth, and as such the best way to keep them happy it to train them to be petted beside you, and then on your lap. Many rabbit never want to be taken in arms : the best thing is to respect that and maybe with patience and care it will change for your own bunny.

The rabbit might have had a terrified experience when it was being held a long time ago. It might have been dropped, or someone held it in an uncomfortable position that hurt it. The rabbit doesn't want that to happen again so he/she wants to avoid being picked up.

Generally speaking, rabbits don't like being picked up at all, and when you try to pick them up they kick their back legs to try to get away from you.

There are some rabbits who have a calm personality, and who have been socialised to accept being picked up - mostly, though, rabbits will struggle when you try to pick them up.

If your rabbit doesn't like being picked up and handled, then don't do it. Play with your rabbit on the ground instead, or on the sofa. The more you do things that your rabbit doesn't like, the less he'll trust you and like you, and the less fun he'll be. Also, repeatedly stressing out your rabbit leads to a low quality of life, and even illness.

Sometimes you have to pick up your rabbit, like for a physical exam or first aid. In that case, be very careful. Always support the rabbit's hind legs. Don't let him kick into thin air, because he could break his own back! Hold him securely: don't drop him, because you could break his delicate bones. Ask your vet to show you how to pick up your rabbit.

Some rabbits do like being picked up, they just have to get used to the experience of being picked up, and getting used to new smells.

It depends upon your needs - the best food processor for you will have the features you require so you may not need a top model if you don't need as many options for chopping.

What will happen after a rabbit pulls a nail?

The rabbit that pulls a nail can not be shown. The nail will not grow back.

How does rabbit sound?

A happy rabbit will make clicking with its teeth. They will also lick you to show their affection. A mad rabbit will growl and grunt. They will even nip you to warn you to back off! They will thump their hind foot to say, "Back off!".

Can you hold your rabbit lying on its back?

People often talk about "hypnotizing" their rabbit by laying it on its back. It's true that many rabbits do become still and dazed when they're laid on their backs, and this can be useful when grooming the rabbit or giving it an at-home physical exam, but it can also be dangerous and stressful for the rabbit. Some people say that becoming hypnotized like this is a rabbit's defence mechanism to prey, so you shouldn't do it at all because it's actually frightening for the bunny. Other people say that if you lay a rabbit on its back, the blood will flow towards the head, adding pressure to the top part of the body, and causing damage there (even breaking its spine). Other people say there's nothing wrong with it and it's fun. BUT: Some rabbits just don't hypnotize well and these rabbits should never be laid on their backs. With these rabbits, you'll lay them down, and then they'll become a little hypnotized but then they'll snap out of it and panic -- when the rabbit does this it can seriously injure itself. If you do put your rabbit on its back, make sure to support the hind legs -- don't leave them loose in the air because rabbits have such strong hind legs, but such weak bones generally, that a rabbit kicking into thin air can actually break its own back.

How do you talk to a rabbit?

You have to understand their body language. If your rabbit grunts or tries to pee on what its grunting at it is saying "I don't like when you do that. I'm mad" If a rabbit is mounting another rabbit, the rabbit on top is saying "I'm the dominant rabbit. I'm in charge here." If the rabbit on the bottom is staying still, it is saying "I know you are in charge." If the rabbit on the bottom is trying to get on top, it is saying "You are not in charge, I am." If your rabbits are not fixed, these mounting behaviors might mean they are mating. If your rabbit has its ears flat back on its back and you are petting it and the rabbit is staying still, it is saying "That feels good. You are making me calm." If you stop petting your rabbit, and it nudges or nips you, it is saying " Why did you stop? Keep petting me." If your rabbit is laying down it is saying "I am tired. I am calm" If one rabbit is laying down in the same cage as another rabbit it is telling you "I feel calm with this other rabbit. They are not a threat. I can trust them." If two or more rabbits are laying very close to each other or next to each other, they are saying "This other rabbit is my buddy. I trust them very much." If one rabbit is grooming the other, it is saying " This rabbit is my friend."
