The beads will actually grow smaller within the intestine, due to less water surrounding the bead, and should simply pass right through the animals system within a day or two. They absolutely can Kill a cat bc an orbeez killed my kitty this weekend. My cat was a 3 year old, otherwise healthy kitty. She was vomiting and not herself…after a stay at the vets and X-rays, the vet noticed something perfectly spherical in her stomach. They did exploratory surgery and found that an orbeez had lodged itself in her pancreatic duct and shredded the duct. She had to be euthanized on the operating table. Please beware that this can be very, very serious!
