Open the wall and get rid of the mouse. It will get worse before it gets better and the rot can cause health concerns. The smell also carries bacteria, that can be harmful to humans.Next rent or buy Powerful Ozone Generator. Its a small machine that creates purifying ozone. Ozone molecules kill bacteria in even the smallest nooks and crannies. Read the instructions before use. Ozone is dangerous if inhaled for long periods of time. After the Ozone Generator runs all day, you can turn it off and the ozone will turn back into breathable clean air. Ozone can remove years of cigarette smells, mold and even kill certain bugs. No scrubbing, and no covering up the smell, its basically gone, after you shock a room or a home with ozone.
you can simply spray it with lysol or wash your wall with soap and water be sure to cover your carpets if you do this also you can spray it with air freshner after washing your wall
Well I don't know where the smell is originating from but I found this great pet product that takes the smell out of about every surface or item I've tried.
i would try club soda or vinegar. in major pet stores they might sell cleansers to get rid of the smell also.
Remove the dead birds
The Only Way To EVER Get The Smell Completely Out, Would Be To Find It. Call an exterminator to do the job.
You can remove dead mouse odors from your clothes dryer by sourcing the dead mouse and removing it. Make sure that you use gloves when doing so. The bad smell is likely to stay for some time afterwards so it is a good idea to clean the vent system and the front and rear panels with white vinegar. Also clean the lint trap by spraying white vinegar on it, rinse well and dry before returning it to the dryer.
If the mouse died on a nonstainable surface, I usually use pure bleach to clean it up. Cleaning the spot where the mouse died is generally the best way. Other methods include, using a fabric refresher like Febreze, especially in a hard to clean area. If there is blood in a fabric or carpet hydrogen peroxide can be used to remove the blood and a good amount of the smell. Caution: hydrogen peroxide can discolor some carpets and fabrics and should be tested on a small inconspicuous piece. If the rodent has died somewhere that you cannot find (such as under floorboards or in an air duct), get some white vinegar, fill a number of cups and place them in the areas that smell the strongest. The vinegar seems to cover up the smell of decay pretty well, but it does need refreshing every other day until the rotten rat smell has gone!
First remove the dead squirrel, then clean up the area with bleach and water. next, spray some air freshner daily until smell seems to disapate....you may have to repeate the bleach and h2o process...
mouse bile: rub it on the flea
the mouse had to have squeezed through a crack; to get rid of it you can easily buy a cheep mouse trap that looks like a hockey puck that is a more humane way then the conventional mouse trap
Spray some Febreeze around in that house bro. From personal experience, I found it works very well.
Adding a diluted solution of Chlorine to the water should sanitize it and rid it of the bad smell
Febreeze.

Check the surrounding areas and the duct itself for anything (dead animal? wet area? mold? ) that could be causing the odor.
