They will probably hiss and moan for a few weeks. Take a towel and rub one cat and then the other. Repeat. Once they smell the same, that will help. If you have to be gone, put one cat, its food and litter box in the bathroom so they can be separate. My cats were strangers when they met as adults, but they both sleep together and spend time on my lap together.

I had one of those red headed lizards in my house, I live in Tenn. My Cat brought it in and left it. After some research I found it was either an adult male broadhead Skink or an adult male five lined skink. Apparently they taste pretty bad so that was why my cat didn't kill it.
The Cat Who Brought Down the House was created in 2003.

Your cat will not know. There are plenty of articles on how to introduce new cats into a household. Please read them before throwing them all together.
Human is to adult as feline is to cat. These are just subjects and the adult names for their species.
The mature version of a human is an adult, and the mature version of a feline is a cat. So human is to adult as feline is to cat.

Yes, but you have to be VERY CAREFUL about introducing them. When you bring the kitten home, keep it in an enclosed area like an unused room that the other cat doesn't use. Keep it there for 3-5 days, then lock it up in a travil carrier or cage. Open the door, (The other cat will want to go into the room), and then STAY IN THE ROOM. See how they react to each other. It is okay if they growl and/or hiss. If the adult cat tries to attack the youngster, don't get involved, you might get scratched. Simply make a loud noise behind it. After the adult looses intrest, let the kitten out and shut the door to its room. After repeating this several times and when they're pretty much used to eachoter, start feeding the adult next to the kitten's crate when you feed the kitten. When there is no hostility, let the kitten out and WATCH THEM. If the adult attacks, make a loud noise. If it doesn't work, protect yourself before interfearing. Keep them apart when you're not around.
