Cats are infamous for bringing their owners gifts like this. Are you worried about a disease? As long as you cat is up to date on it's shots, you probably shouldn't worry too much about it, but it's always a good idea to keep an eye on them just to be sure. As far as the chipmunk, whether it was alive or dead, remove it with gloves and be sure to sanitize any area it came in contact with, just to be on the safe side.
