2. never beg, if you do they will get agitated and never say yes.

3. tell them good facts about guinea pigs when your parents are happy.

And also you could do your research on the Guinea pig and the get a pencil and paper and sit down with your parents and see why you can't have one. when you have all their reasons, maybe you can make agreement.

Make sure you do your research before you get one. First of all you need 2 guinea pigs or the one can become depressed. You will also end up spending a lot of money on food since they need lettuce and fruit and veggies daily. Also please adopt from a rescue

This is hard to take when you really want a pet. You can show them that you can be responsible. Ask them to try out a live plant for awhile to show them you can take care of a live thing. Get a live plant and take care of it for a decided amount of time and that will show your parents you can be responsible for a live animal.

Because after that, they will never get you an animal, if you show them the opposite of what you are doing. :)
