1990 ford bronco the ac works great on low when you turn it up the fan kicks works for a few minutes and then shuts off then it kicks on again for a few minutes and goes off again. heat blows fine why?

You need to recharge your AC Lines. They will work in Low because they dont have to have so much pressure as if they were in high. So that is why they kick off and on.
