I have a 2000 Chevrolet venture and I had the same problem.
You can go a few different ways.
First you can spend about $300 on the entire fuel pump assembly with the fuel level sensor built into it.
The other way (this is the way I chose) is to go onto eBay or amazon or even a dealer may sell it (i got mine from EBAY) and you can purchase the fuel level sending unit by itself.
If you know your pump is good, then don't bother changing the WHOLE unit for the sending unit.
You can get this sending unit (or even the pump and all).
Remove the fuel tank (it's like 3 bolts that hold the tank up by straps) and there are like 3 fuel lines towards the front of the tank.
Make sure it is as low as possible, the tank is like 25 pounds alone.
Anyways, remove the fuel filler neck hose and the overflow hose and then disconnect the wiring plugs.
There is a big notched circular ring, unscrew the ring.
The pump is spring loaded, unscrew the pump from the tank.
Lift it out slowly and you'll see the float level, (that is the level sending unit).
The seller on eBay has complete instructions on how to replace the sending unit...
Hi, 95% of the time (or more), the problem you describe it caused by the Fuel Level Sensor, which is mounted on the fuel pump assembly. This assembly is mounted inside the fuel tank (at the top), so the tank will have to be drained and removed to replace the sensor. The 'good news' is that the sensor can often be replaced separately from the entire assembly, so it is possible to keep the cost down, at least a little. Good Luck, Greg
I have had a similar problem with my 1999 Chevrolet Venture. The best answer I was able to come up with is there may be a short in the electrical system. I would have a trained technician troubleshoot the problem. There are other possibilities, but this seems to be the most common. I couldn't afford to have it done right away, so I used my trip meter to calculate my fuel level. The next time you fill up, reset the trip meter. after 200-300 miles, fill the tank again. Devide the # of miles my the # of gallons you put into the van. This will give you an idea of the miles per gallon that you are actually getting. Track this for a few tanks and you will be able to predict when it is time to put fuel in the tank until you get the problem fixed. Hope this helps. Having same problem with my '02 Venture. Problem with mine is that the fuel level sending unit, located inside the gas tank, on the fuel pump assembly, is opening up. It
around $30 labor plus a $20 belt

"Ode to Thanks" is similar to classic odes in that it typically expresses gratitude or appreciation towards a subject, person, or idea. It follows the formal structure of an ode, with a structured strophe or stanza. It also often includes elaborate language and imagery to convey the depth of gratitude.
God Isn't real.
