Blank verse or iambic pentameter
For most of his working life he was associated with the company called The Lord Chamberlain's Men, later known as The King's Men after they changed Patrons. He w…as a part of this company from its inception and for almost twenty years afterward. Before the Lord Chamberlain's company was formed in 1594, we cannot be sure exactly with which companies Shakespeare worked, but we can guess (since these companies performed his plays, especially Titus Andronicus) that Strange's Men, Derby's Men and Pembroke's Men might have been among them. He also might have worked for Strange's, the company Burbage was with before 1594.
Stratford-upon-Avon, his birthplace.
William Shakespeare was a minor shareholder in The Globe Theatre. He, as well as the other owners, was a member of the theatre company that played there, The Lord Chamberlain'…s Men later called the King's Men. Since Shakespeare was the company playwright, all of his plays were played by that company and often at that theatre (but not always)

His hometown, Stratford upon Avon.

It is a pretty safe bet when faced with a question about the meter of any of Shakespeare's Sonnets to guess that it is in iambic pentameter, that is rhythm which sounds like t…a-DUM ta-DUM ta-DUM ta-DUM ta-DUM. So, let's check it out. That TIME of YEAR thou MAYST in ME be-HOLD. Mm-hmm. Just as predicted.
Iambic pentameter is the type of poetic meter that is commonly associated with William Shakespeare.
