It depends what kind of answer you're expecting ! If you want a long, drawn out answer (either positive or negative) I could drone on and on about whether any question asked on here is useless (or not). You see - one persons 'useless' question could be quite useful to someone else (especially if that second person gets a really informative answer !) So - anyway - in short no, your question isn't useless, but it might just as well have attracted a useless answer.
