No, the ouija boards are not real. I tried it myself at school (although I'm not supposed to). I was playing it online, but it was just a load of crap, nothing but crap! I even tried the real ouija boards at home, I was trying to talk to it but unfortunately nothing happened and all the stories about the ouija boards are fakes

AnswerIf by fake, you mean if they put you into contact with "spirits", then yes it is fake. Ouija is a boardgame trademarked by Hasbro. It was original designed as a parlor game and sold in novelty shops.

The original idea was to ask questions and then the players would move the planchette to get an answer by ideomotor action or the sub-conscience, supposedly a more truthful answer then they would otherwise give. In reality it is much more likely that the answer will be gibberish or that one of the players are consciously moving the planchette.

The whole idea of talking to spirits through the ouija board came later and was popularized by Horror movies. There is absolutely no evidence that this is true, and you are just as likely to contact spirits using a game of Chess.

The principles would be effectively the same and in fact, it would be far simpler for an entity made up of energy to manipulate the circuitry and therefore the software of the online board over the material planchette of a physical board.
