Technically they are gluten free but they are made in a facility that uses wheat flour.
Caramel candy is usually (if not always) NOT gluten free. Caramel color (like in Coke) is however gluten free. I'm sure there is some brand/type that does make gluten free caramel though.

My research indicates that Butterfinger candy bars are gluten-free but Butterfinger Crisp is not gluten free. The corn flakes are confectioner's corn. Nestle' will list any gluten contained in any of their products on the label.
