The one and only piece of evidence that the earth is still moving is earthquakes.If the earth wasn't moving then we wouldn't have earthquakes now would we.I'm not even a scientist.12 years old!Use your brain and imagination.That's how scientists predict things like the worlds going to end in 2012 this year.Do you really think they know that for a fact?They really don't.That calender probably ends on 2012 because the creators have probably been through something terrible 2000 years ago and restarted.Who knows.Maybe next year will be 0001 again.

Yes, quite a lot, but VERY slowly! Plates move with every earthquake but can also slowly slip without earthquake activity.

Yes they are, but they are moving very little, until the next earthquake strikes, when the plates come rub on each other and cause huge vibrations, causing earthquakes.

Only when the planet is no longer "alive" and able to support life. So long as there is heat in the middle of the planet, things will flow around.
