Depends on how you mean the question. Scientist generally think (a) that all dogs are descendents of wolves or (b) all dogs and all wolves are descendents of a common ancestor in the relatively recent past. Relatively recent, like, more recent than, say,100,000 years, is my understanding. I think that (a) is the more common belief at this point. At one time the scientist Konrad Lorentz thought that some dogs were descended from jackals, but he later retracted that belief. On the other hand dogs and wolves are completely interfertile (as contrasted with horses and donkeys, for instance) and some individual dogs are most certainly descended from an individual, amorous wolf.
Not all dogs are Direct descendents of wolves, acctually some wolf-decendent-dogs were breed with others to create most of the dogs we know today
Some ethologists think wolves have partial symbiosis with crows and ravens, using them as "spotters" and letting them share the kills. The fact that we have dogs, which are the descendents of wolves, testifies to the wolves' inclination to work well with other species.
it may be difficult as some sheep dogs may direct sheep on wrong way or some wolves may eat the sheeps
dogs came from wolves, and wolves ate rabbits, sometimes. some rabbits get along with dogs, but you might want to be cautious.
Some believe wolves share a commonancestor, much like humans and primates.
The answer is more a case of- why do dogs belong to the family of wolves? Dogs are the direct descendants of wolves, and so belong to that family. Some dogs don't look like they have wolf ancestors, but they do. Others look very similar, such as alsations.
pigs, dogs, wolves, and donkeys
some are foxes, wolves and dogs mostly humans
Some dogs, such as wolves are. On the other hand there are many more domesticated dogs
The dog is a member of the wolf family. Actually, wolves are their ancentors. Wolves attack and hunt and defend, also looking like dogs. The only difference, is that dogs are tame. Some people call dogs 'Tame Wolves'.
Cougars, lions, wolves(although they have been known, sometimes, to welcome dogs), etc.
Wolves, coyotes, hyenas, jackals are among the species that might be considered to be cousins of dogs.
some are foxes, wolves and dogs mostly humans
