the manager of The Beatles originally made an agreement with Disney that the parts of the vultures would be played by the band. When the idea was brought to John Lennon he told them "There's no way The Beatles are going to sing for Mickey F***-ing Mouse!" the voices were cast to other actors but the characters themselves are yes based on The Beatles. The one with the shaggy hair looks madly like George!!

Can Vultures be found in a jungle?

Although they generally prefer wide open spaces, especially coastlines, deserts and plains, they can also live in a wide range of habitats. This DOES include tropical and temperate forests and grasslands. Turkey vultures are among the most common New World vultures in United States. They can also be found along the east and west coast of North Canada and Central South America.

Are turkey vultures helpful in any way?

All vultures are carrion eaters (they eat the remains of dead animals but do not kill these animals themselves). There role is to tidy up the environment as things die. To help them do this turkey vultures have one of the best developed senses of smell in the animal kingdom so that they can smell out dead animals in the jungle where the dead animal can not be seen from above because of the tree cover.
