Regular QWERTY keyboard cell phones (non-touch screen) are better for texting because you can feel the buttons and when you press them, so after a while, you can memorize the keyboard and text fast without having to look at the keyboard so you can see what you are typing.

The Samsung brand of cell phones is a good brand in general. However, some phones may not be good with texting, as is the Samsung Moment. Try getting a Samsung Solstice II, since it is definitely worth the price.

Children go to school to study and learn, not to be texting their friends and sending photos on the phone. This is another distraction that takes away from the concentration needed to be a good student.
