No they cannot. The Orthodox Chruch and Catholic Church are not in communion with one another and are not able to receive the Eucharist at other churches legitmately.

-UPDATE-

In the past few years this practice has been changed. Orthodox believers can now receive communion in a Roman Catholic Church and Roman Catholics can now receive communion in an Orthodox Church, however either should only be done in a time of necessity.

Great strides are being made in bringing the two churches back together again as it was in the beginning.

Catholics will give communion to an Orthodox but an Orthodox is not supposed to take communion anywhere but in the Orthodox Church. I have yet to see communion given to a Catholic in an Orthodox church. If you are not baptised Orthodox you are not given the Holy Mystery in the Orthodox Church. In my church, the Priest will not give communion to anyone unless they have had confession, and will certainly not give communion to ANYONE, not even a Catholic, if they are not Orthodox. It is not allowed.

Answer: Ordinarily, although Eastern Orthodox Christians share much in common with Catholicism, including belief in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist, they should not receive Communion during the celebration of the Eucharist in a Catholic Church. This is because, for Catholicism, receiving the Eucharist is a powerful sign of ecclesial unity, not simply unity with Christ.

Exceptions "Catholic ministers may licitly administer the sacraments of penance, Eucharist and anointing of the sick to members of the Eastern Churches which do not have full Communion with the Catholic Church, if they ask on their own for the sacraments and are properly disposed. This holds also for members of other Churches, which in the judgment of the Apostolic See are in the same condition as the Eastern Churches as far as these sacraments are concerned" (Canon 844 § 3).

The circumstances in which other Christians are permitted to receive Communion are more limited, though it is still possible under certain circumstances:

"If the danger of death is present or if, in the judgment of the diocesan bishop or conference of bishops, some other grave necessity urges it, Catholic ministers administer these same sacraments licitly also to other Christians not having full communion with the Catholic Church, who cannot approach a minister of their own community and who seek such on their own accord, provided that they manifest Catholic faith in respect to these sacraments and are properly disposed" (Canon 844 § 4)

Yes,since the Catholic church views the Orthodox church as valid in sacraments, however they would have to accept that the pope of Rome is there head not the Greek Orthodox Patriach or Coptic Orthodox Patriach depending on what Orthodox church they belong to. But the Orthodox church will excommunicate anyone who receives the eucharist in any other church, since they see the Catholic church as the heretic and schismatic church for changing the churches beliefs etc when they were together

Answer # 1

No.

Answer # 2

Yes.

Normally, Catholics are required to receive Eucharist from a Catholic minister of the sacrament (cf. CIC canon 844 § 1).

However,

Whenever necessity requires it or true spiritual advantage suggests it, and provided that danger of error or of indifferentism is avoided, the Christian faithful for whom it is physically or morally impossible to approach a Catholic minister are permitted to receive the sacraments of penance, Eucharist, and anointing of the sick from non-Catholic ministers in whose Churches these sacraments are valid [e.g. various Orthodox churches]. (CIC canon 844 § 2).

This canon law gives expression to the suitable circumstances mentioned in the Vatican II document Unitatis Redintegratio regarding the Eastern churches:

These churches, although separated from us, yet possess true sacraments, above all - by apostolic succession - the priesthood and the Eucharist, whereby they are still joined to us in closest intimacy. Therefore some worship in common (communicatio in sacris), given suitable circumstances and the approval of church authority, is not merely possible but is encouraged. (Flannery 1996, p. 515)

Since the Catholic Church recognizes the sacraments of the Orthodox Church to be valid, yes, you could receive communion but only if it would be impossible for you to assist at a Catholic Mass.

Roman Catholic AnswerMaking some assumptions here about your question: you are asking if an Eastern Rite Catholic can receive Holy Communion in an Orthodox Church. The answer to that question would be no, both from the Catholic perspective, and from the Orthodox.

While both churches believe in the real presence of Jesus in the Eucharist, the Greek orthodox church may frown upon this and not allow it; neither would they allow a Greek to receive communion in the catholic church. On the other hand a Catholic church would allow a Greek to receive communion in the catholic church under special circumstances like a wedding but not regularly. Again, the Greek orthodox should consult his priest to avoid heresy.

May Greek Orthodox people receive Holy Communion in the Catholic Church?

Yes, they may receive Holy Communion in a Catholic Church. Members of the Orthodox Churches are the only non-Catholics who may do so.Orthodox view:No, the Orthodox Church does not allow its members to receive Holy Communion in any other church. Whilst the Roman Catholics allow the Orthodox to do this, the Orthodox themselves are not allowed to partake, as they are not in communion with the Roman Catholics. Can an Anglican take communion in a Maronite church?

.Catholic AnswerOf course not, an Anglican is a protestant, a Catholic Church is Catholic. An Anglican may receive Holy Communion in a Catholic Church after completing RCIA classes and being brought into the Church at the Easter Vigil, but if they wish to remain an Anglican, they are, by that very fact, proclaiming that they are not in communion with the Catholic Church, so to receive Holy Communion in a Catholic Church would be a lie and dangerous to their spiritual well-being. Aside from all that, Catholics to not "take" Holy Communion, they "receive" Holy Communion.

Do you have to be baptized to take communion?

Catholics do not 'take' communion, they 'receive' communion. Yes, you must be a baptized Catholic to receive communion in a Catholic Church. Also, you must have undergone instruction and received your First Holy Communion.

Why does the Catholic church not allow other Christians to partake in communion?

Because one of the reasons for receiving Holy Communion in the Catholic Church is to publicly show your communion with the Catholic Church. Non-Catholics are not in communion with the Catholic Church and therefore cannot receive Holy Communion.

Is the Russian orthodox church like the American Catholic Church?

Yes, in that they both originated with the Catholic Church, went into schism, while retaining valid Orders and valid sacraments: to that extent they are alike, although the American Catholic Church, which is derived from the Old Catholic Church, a schismatic group that went into schism after the First Vatican Council, is not in communion with the Catholic Church nor the Orthodox Church. The American Catholic Church is in communion with the Anglican Church meaning, when all is said and done, they are yet another protestant church, while the Russian Orthodox remains Catholic to a degree.
