No. E-85 can only be used safely in hybred vehicles. It will damage your fuel system if you use it.
If you check your manual it should clearly state that you CANNOT use E-85.
The 1993 Oldsmobile Ciera with the 3300 V6 (code 'N') is specified for 10W30. 5W30 can be used is severe service/winter conditions. The service fill capacity for the Ciera is 4.5-quarts with the filter.
I don't believe that GM used inertia switchs on their cars. That's Ford. GM uses a simpler, and better system. If there is no oil pressure, the fuel system wont turn on.

your alero does not have a fuel shut off these switches are used mainly in ford vehicles.
14 inch rims are the spec size. You can use P185/75/R14 , P185/70/R14 , P185/70/R14 , or P185/75/R14 all will work with no problems. I have an 88 olds cutlass Ciera and have used these with both winter and all season.
yes, actually 1996 was the first year that ford used obdII, so it's electronic fuel injection.

Depends on the engine. 4 Cylinder GM engines used a pair of timing gears (no belt), while the V-6 used a gear and chain system. Neither one used a belt (other than the serpentine belt to drive the AC, alternator, power steering and water pumps.
i used this document for my 93 ciera. amazingly easy to follow. http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs/GM/PDF/460009.pdf
