A doctor can bill you for any and all amounts you have incurred for those services rendered to you.
It is up to you to see to it that those bills get paid whether your insurer pays them or you pay them.
Some services may be covered under your policy while others may not be covered. Regardless of what is or is not covered though, You, the patient are ultimately responsible for the bill.
