yes, my ex-husband is going through this with his wife, they have 2 small children and have been married for almost 7 years. She is being deported around the first of the year.

Democratic states are more likely to let an illegal immigrant go simply by paying the bail charges. In a republican state, the illegal immigrant may not be so lucky (I don't know the answer for a republican state).
