All snakes will eat mice. Whether or not a snake will eat frozen mice can depend greatly on the snake. Some snakes do not want to eat cold food. In fact, some snakes won't strike on cold food.
If you thaw the "pinkies" to around 90 degrees they will.
They prefer live mice but that is cruel. You can get frozen ones from the pet shop and thaw them out for them. Depending on the size of the snake really. If it is a small snake then they need pinkies which are baby mice, they also eat other snakes if they get the chance!
It means baby mice.
Depending on how small of a snake they usually prefer to eat pinkies (baby rats/mice). You can buy them online or at petco but buy them FROZEN put them in water to dethaw an your baby gopher snake will be happy
Pet snakes eat live mice or frozen mice. A snake's diet consists of mice because other animals cost to much to constantly buy for your snake to eat.
pinky mice or baby crickets
They eat Pinky mice, they are the baby mice that don't have any fur yet
Corn snakes eat a variety based on preference. Mice, rats, chicks, baby bunnies, quial eggs, etc. Somtimes a snake will refuse to eat anything but what their particular taste calls for. Sometimes this is trial and error, which can be frustrating. I and most herp owners recommend frozen then thawed mice/baby rats for an adult corn snake. Corn snakes can even be particular as to what kind of mice they're eating, be it African soft furred mice, white mice, colored mice, etc. Like i sad, trial and error. good luck =]
they eat insects when they are smaller but sometimes grow into bigger snakes and start eatine baby mice
There is NO SUCH SPECIES as a garden snake ! IF you meant a 'Garter snake' - then no - there are NO vegetarian snakes- ALL snakes are carnivores !
You should feed your baby ball python frozen pinkies, your middle-aged python frozen mice, your aged python, live mice!
They can eat worms and insects
They eat fuzzies and pinkies. When they get older they eat medium mice and large mice.
