I would like to know the same thing. Recently, my children and I moved into my grandmothers "abandoned" home for lack of a better term~wherein we were under the impression is was in suitable conditions to find it in the shape you would see on the tv show hoarders. With no transportation or money we were left there fighting to clean to make it livable while under disastrous unhealthy unsanitary dangerous conditions. Slowly but surely each day we make progress. We couldn't cook, bathe, or have a proper place to sit, sleep or put our things...I can't even begin to describe the Horror. The mold, insects, rotten food and filth has no words for justice. INSTANTLY we were covered with insect bites all over our bodies within the first hour-two we arrived. That night or the next I noticed a sore throat but thought it was due to my screaming at the top of my lungs to my brother for having destroyed and abandoned our grandmothers property. The next day my son started coughing then sneezing then had a sore throat and stomach ache...and so did I. My youngest and I have tested positive for strep just yesterday and today and now my oldest is now throwing up. We were in perfect health till the day we arrived. I'm SURE it has to do with this house. Please tell me your thought...
You are not alone in this , I too believe my house makes me and my kids sick ,my husband thinks I,m nuts. I am still looking for an answer.
