YES!! Speaking for me it has. My blood pressure has always been on the low side and now it's around 160/98. I'm slim, eat healthily and don't drink or smoke.

Shingles are painful and pain stresses the body which in turn can increase blood pressure, can they directly increase it? Uncertain.

my husband has had a heart transplant and is still recovering from shingles. he has started having low blood pressure, is this causedby shingles. He is 79 and 20 years since transplant
