Yes. Someone already with a minecraft account can give it to you, but they have to pay for it. If someone is kind enough to do this for you, it is free for you but not free for them.
It's free to make a Minecraft account. You can get it on Minecraft's home page (the link is under "Sources and related links" below this answer). Then you have to download it, and that's what costs money.
yes and no. no one will want to just give you an account to play on, but if your lucky someone nice enough will buy a gift code for you and send it to your email, then you can redeem that code on minecraft.net to make your account premium so you can play yourself. I suggest you just buy the game. its cheap and is really worth the money. but if no one will get you a code just download the minecraft launcher from minecraft.net and then it will download a single player only version where you can mod and texture pack it, but you cant join multiplayer.
Yes, it is possibly for someone else to send you a gift code. First they must buy it, then they will need a e-mail ( so will you). Shortly after buying there gift code found on the minecraft homesite, they will receive a message in their inbox that has the gift code. If you want to play with that gift code, simply force them to send it to you. And congratulations you are now one of the millions playing minecraft.
I really depends how nice they are.
but if they were nice they might
Its because they cost money, so it would be like giving away 20$
Sometime notch make special deals where you buy one get one free, like when he got engaged to EZ

Yes, but the Minecraft Terms & Conditions state that you may not distribute it, making it illegal if that individual is outside of your family.
You may not request or provide any private information such as usernames, accounts, or passwords. That is not a valid use of the site.
No. You must buy one. Getting one for free is illegal.
If they are willing to give you their password, then yes.
you have to make a key in minecraft. JanskeyIt is a code used to make a free Minecraft account into a premium one, and is often referred to as a gift code.

No.
Ou buy a code from minecraft.net and you can give it to a friend so they can activate their account.
Join competitions or get it as a gift!
Not sure what you mean the way you have it worded? I believe if you bought the game from a store like Walmart or Target or a similar place it will have the redeem code on it. You then go to Minecraft.net and register your username and password and it will have a place to go to in your profile for redeeming gift codes and the like. I believe it works the same way for someone buying you a Minecraft gift code. In the e-mail that gets e-mailed to you will have a code to enter when you register an account on the Minecraft.net site.
It is a fake code i tried it and it said invalid code
Yes, could buy an account and name it after them. You could then give them a card with the username+password as their gift. I personally would think this as the best gift ever!
