Maybe. The FMLA states one of the reasons for taking the leave is "any qualifying exigency arising out of the fact that the employee's spouse, son, daughter, or parent is a covered military member on covered active duty." My opinion is that this would not include financial and legal arrangements, unless there were extenuating circumstances. Recommend you contact a legal representative for interpretation of your situation.
