What tribe(s) are you wondering about?

Even if a tribe was specified, it would be nearly impossible to answer this question. Since the Indian learned very early on to assimilate or be anniliated, much of what was passed on was hidden and kept within the family, clan and/or tribe.

These five I personally wish were more prevalent in the native youth - respect for elders, pride in your nation and Indian identity, rejecting drugs/alcohol and anything else that might alter your spiritual understanding, seeking a deep spiritual connection with Creator, and preparing in youth for the responsibilities of adulthood. I know these things are being taught today, but they clash with the dominant society's views.
