The Droid R2D2 and the Droid 2 are almost exactly the same except for the looks. The Droid 2 global has global features which gives you coverage if you travel a lot.
Your antenna lead-in is broken, and the radio isn't getting any signal. That's why it keeps scanning and can't hear anything. Check the connection from the antenna to the cable, and if that's OK, then you'll have to replace the cable from the antenna to the radio. You did connect the antenna to it when you were checking it in the first car, right ? You can quickly test this hypothesis: With a radio in the first car, where no radio works, connect the power, but don't connect the car's antenna to it. Instead, stick the end of a different piece of wire ( 3 to 6 ft long) into the center hole of the antenna connector on the radio, and see if that makes it possible for the radio to start hearing things.
droid x, no its awful
It depends on what you want to do. The Droid X is slightly faster and has a better camera while the Droid 2 has the physical keyboard. In my opinion the Droid X is better.
The droid 2 is a great phone. There are others out there, such as the droid X, that are a bit better but you will have to make that decision based on personal preference. The Droid X is rather large, and the droid 2 is smaller and lighter.
not the droid 2
No, the two are quite different. The droid R2D2, is a fictional astromech droid used in the Starwars series. The Droid 2 on the other hand is a smart phone developed by Motorola.
Both phones are really nice 3G Verizon Droid phones. The Droid X2 is newer than the Droid Incredible 2, and in my opinion a little nicer. However, it might depend on if you like Motorola or HTC better. HTC makes the Incredible 2 and Motorola the Droid X2.
Yes, the Droid 2 has a video camera that shoots at 480p resolution.
yes of course it works
From my own experience, the main difference between the Motorola Droid 3 and Motorola Droid 2 is merely physical - - the Motorola Droid 3 is thinner than the previous versions.
When it comes to specs, innovation, and the latest smart phone technology, go with the Droid Incredible 2. Its specs mirror the HTC Thunderbolt, though the Incredible 2's battery lasts way longer. The only reason to get the Droid X is the price. Go with the Incredible 2.
