I use chuck. It doesn't come out pretty, it slices kinda crappy, but the flavor, tenderness, and gravy can't be beat! (It pretty much shreds and melts in your mouth.... Mmmmmmm.)
I cook it in an electric skillet - brown the meat on all sides, with one large sliced onion in the pan - on high heat. Once it's browned, pour in 3-4 cups of beef broth (I use boullion), lower the heat, cover and let it cook for 3-5 hours. I remove the meat, thicken the liquid with a slurry of cornstarch and water, and serve it with noodles, carrots, peas, and biscuits. (My mom subsitutes boiled potato for the noodles
In theory you can, provided that you get the internal temperature of 160F (71C) for your pork. That is the FDA recommended internal temperature for pork. There really isn't an internal temperature recommendation for beef, just basic guidelines for rare, medium, well-done, etc... if you are going to be cooking them in the same pot, I would always recommend cooking both to an internal temperature of 160F. That is the temperature when pork is deemed safe to eat, so you have to cook your beef to the same temperature because they are being cooked sharing the same liquids and juices.
However, you should also be aware of any Allergies that anyone might have when combining different types of meat. A friend of mine is allergic to pork, but not beef, so doing something like that would be mighty dangerous around her.
So... can you? Most likely. Should you? At your own risk. I would always recommend cooking separately, just in case, but if you are careful there is no reason why you couldn't.
Yes you can. Place your Pot Roast in the slow cooker, cover with Onion Soup Mix, and add either water or Broth, enough to cover the bottom of the slow cooker..usually about 3 cups. Cook on low for about an hour and a half, then add raw chopped potatoes, carrots, celery...once everything is cooked, remoe some juice and whisk with flour, then pour back in.
Yes. So will pork, belly or cheek, and just bring to a slower simmer near the end of the day.
Yes. Pork cheek and belly will make a great pot roast and turn your hectic day into a great one. Have a nice roast!

crock pot.
Sliced roast beef can cook in a crock pot for about 90 minutes. The sizes of the slices and how much roast beef is being cooked can alter the timing.
How to cook a roast. 500 degrees for 1/2 hr then turn to 450 and cook roast for 20 minutes/lb with temperature turned off and oven closed. I put a pork roast in the crock pot and 3 hours later determined I forgot to turn it on. Is it safet to cook and eat?
No, but you can bake them in a Dutch oven.
It depends on what your cooking. If your cooking soup or stew you probably should cook it in a crock pot. But if your cooking brownies or a cake you should cook it in the oven for best results. If your cooking mac and cheese you should cook it in a oven.

A 6lb boneless pork loin roast should cook in a crock pot on high for 3-4 hours. A pork loin roast in the oven should cook for about 2 hours on 350 degrees.
i cook mine for 6-8 hours....it literally falls apart at that point its yummy!
No, you cannot cook rolls in a crock pot. Rolls, just as most breads, have to be baked uncovered in a hot oven. Crock pots are more for long, slow cooking with moist heat.
The dish on the inside of the crock pot is normally oven safe when it is removed from the electrical part of the crock pot. Obviously the electrical unit itself is not. If the dish is not removable then the answer is no.
