Law will vary by state on the age that you an operate a quad at all. In most states, a quad is not street legal so you probably shouldn't be driving it on the road at all. That's why it is called an off road vehicle.
Answeri think the law is if you are riding the quad within a certain radius of your farm then it is ok you should not drive on A roads.you will have to pass a full car driving licence before using a quad (ATV) on the road you quad will then need to display L plates on the quads you must also ensure that your quad is road legal and if you are carry passengers the quad safety manual will say if is safe and legal to do so
Depending on where you live, you may be required by law to take atraining course on how to safely operate an ATV. Even if you are not required by law, it is still advisable to take the course anyway. If you have never ridden before, start on a smaller size ATV, less than 400cc. Always! Always! Wear a helmet. No racing!! or No riding beyond your skill set. It takes only 1 mistake to end your or another's life!
yes and no it depends on what cc (cubic centermeters) it is
like a 50cc u have to be like 9
250cc u have to be 16 or 18
only if you have the proper license, check your states DMV website, find that site by googling, "your state" dmv and read the requirements
No. Most states in the US strictly prohibit the use of ATVs on the roads. To do so is punishable by arrest and incarceration, not to mention it isn't really bright to begin with.
yes but not on roads. u would need a road quad 2 drive on roads and be 18 and have a driving licence.
Is there an age limet to ride a quad
No
no u have 2 be 18 and have a road legal quad to drive on the roads
To drive an ATV quad bike on the road one needs to have a full car licence. An ATV quad bike can only carry passengers if it is designed to do so and has the right number of seats.
As long as you own the land, then you can be any age to use the quad bike. Hoverer if it is in public grounds (eg: forest) then the usual road code applies (not 100% sure though)
Yes, as long as you have a drivers licence and the quad bike is fully road legal.
To drive a quad bike, you must have a category B1 or B licence, therefore you must be at least 17.
If it is road legal and you have a full driving licence and insurance you can ride it on a motorway.
Ummm? Off road.
You can operate a quad bike with a category B or B1 licence.
About 40kmph depending on road terrain and riders weight
Some people can actually drive their quad on the road. These people have gotten the right paperwork to do so.
You can have quad bike registration numbers, but only if they're road legal. Most quads' are road legal, e.g. Aeon Crossfire 300.
Well, you don't need a license period to ride a quad off road. Quads are not street legal, and unless you're on public roads, you can drive whatever you want, wherever you want (at that point though, trespassing etc. becomes a concern.)
