If you mix a bit of epoxy with the plaster and work quickly you will have a greater chance of it lasting.
Plaster of Paris (but you have to work quickly...)
There is no relationship. -Joint compound is a plaster derivative for filling holes and emulsion (or latex) paint is only for painting and has no void filling function.
Holes that form by huge blocks of glacier and that have been burrowed into the ground are called kettles. There are many types of holes.

Personally I would strip the paper but,Yes, providing the walls are in good shape the paper has no overlap splices.Patch holes with patching plaster and use sanding block till smooth/ flush. If there is loose paper, use wall paper paste to secure. Last cut it, don't pull. It could wind up in a bigger area to repair.Important thing about patching plaster, good for small nail holes and minor stuff. Bigger holes need Drywall wall compound. AND! use drop cloths always and cover/ block off doors and openings. Cold air returns and heater vents or you will have dust everywhere. One or two small holes hold vacuum next to area as you sandI would use a Sherwin Williams Colored oil base primer first which will aid in using less paint. Color would be same as what you are painting. Then apply your Latex paint Preferably Sherwin Williams over top.

idk but i do know that iit looks smooth and wavey and has small holes in it
I wouldn't recommend using a nail gun on plaster, it may shatter around the area you would be nailing. I would predrill a whole and use screws into the studs. I recommend using a concrete drill bit. If you plan on covering the entire wall with wood or something then you could get away with using a nail gun, but if you ever take that wood down the plaster wall will be ruined. You could always fill in the pre-drilled holes and paint over it if you ever wanted the plaster look again if you went with screws.
repair any cracks or holes with plaster or filler and sand smooth. lightly sand the wall to increase adhesion of new paint. if covering a dark wall with a lighter colored paint, cover wall with primer before painting.
The bodies were not stone, but they had been covered in ash which then hardened, creating hallows where the bodies were. The people who uncovered Pompeii poured plaster into the holes creating plaster casts.
A keyhole saw.
In 1991 our family had a tortoise and the family dog bit a hole in it's shell. Actually, two. We took the tortoise to a friend who cleaned the holes and applied plaster-of-paris. For years the tortoise had the plaster cast on it, and as the tortoise grew, pieces of the plaster would come off. All these years later, the plaster is completely gone, and the tortoise has a beautiful shell. You can't even tell that it ever had a problem. Nope, the crater holes give it the look of Swiss cheese
Yes, you could say this. The holes, however, are irregular and could be described as pockets.
The holes in Henry Moore's sculptures are a way of playing with mass and space. For simple definitions, mass is any part of the sculpture that has a physical weight and space is any part of the sculpture, such as a hole, that does not.Using holes makes the sculpture more abstract, and as a less literal representation of an object it can make the observer think more about that artistic choice. It can make the absent part more important or less important than the rest of the piece, and lends itself as a natural focal point.
