That should be a New Ithaca Double made in 1927. Smaller gauge guns bring more than 12 gauge guns, so if this one is in very good condition I suspect that it would be worth around $700-800 or so. You might look on gunbroker.com, an auction site, and see what similar guns are selling for. Sounds like you have a nice gun.
I have a 20ga Ithaca double barrel hammerliss shotgun has dogs on the action, serial number 249015 is about 85% condition, what is the age and value?
$317
There's a list of serial numbers by year at http://ithacagunrepair.com/page5/page23/
Depends on the model and condition. An Ithaca Mdl 37 Featherlight in 16 g in excellent condition is $500-$600 at retail.
1950's I believe, definitely after the interchangeable barrel feature was incorporated. Value depends on exact variation, as there were several, and condition. sales@countrygunsmith.net
probably made by colt in 1943. If your slide reads Ithaca, then it is on a Colt frame. That is not unusual....................
Probably between $1500 and $2,000 depending on condition, matching serial numbers, etc.
The serial number you posted does not match any data from Ithaca records. The link below is to the accepted table of manufacturing dates for Ithaca shotguns. Values can range from $200-$450, depending on the exact version and the condition.
What is the condition of the gun and the barrel length?
yes with the serial and a VERY good description on condition.
You have an Ithaca NID model made in 1926, Not knowing condition or grade 300 -3500.
An Ithaca of that serial number was called a Flues Model after the inventor of the locking mechanism, Emil Flues. It was produced from 1908 through 1926. The serical number range was 175,000 to 399,000. A grade 4 in Good condition values at $1200, in Very Good $1600 and in Excellent $2000. Add $200 for automatic ejectors
