Anand is one of the main villages which have gained a lot employment opportunities because of AMUL(Anand Milk Udyog Limited). Earlier the women of Anand had to travel a lot of distance to sell milk to nearest town. But after this co-operative society is set, it has became a lot easier for them to sell milk. Now AMUL is one of the biggest co-operative societies of India.
