The Pandora Battery is actually a combination of specially-modified PSP battery, and specially-modified PSP pro duo memory stick.
To make a Pandora Battery, you need a homebrew-capable PSP. This is rather a catch-22 as you need an open PSP to make one! If you don't have a homebrew-capable PSP, you should find a friend who does, or use the information below to find someone who can make a battery for you for free, buy a Pandora battery or buy a Datel Battery Service Mode Tool to convert your battery.
Some scams to beware of:
1. Some people are selling the battery on its own, plus instructions on how to make the memory stick. Making the battery is the easy part, and if your PSP is unable to do that, then you will be unable to make the memory stick.
2. Selling the memory stick may be illegal. If you own a PSP then you are licensed to use the firmware.
3. Many people will try to sell you just the instructions. There are some excellent instructions available for free on the internet, including those linked to above.
4. Many people are simply selling you a link to the website containing the download.
If you prefer to buy one, use your favorite search engine, for example and in the search field type "buy Pandora battery", you'll have a variety of vendors to choose from.

Yes, If your PSP Already has Custom Firmware, You can SoftMod it. Download "PSP Tool 1.00" And under the battery options on the application, Choose "Make Pandora Battery" or Do this on someone elses PSP That has Custom Firmware then use it on your PSP
Nope. The Go has a two conductor battery, and the classic PSP has a three conductor battery. Therefore, the Go has no data channel for its battery, and no way for it to communicate with the logic of the device. Not to mention the battery is non-user replaceable, too.
They aren't really considered 'fixable' in the sense that it's much easier to just get a replacement. If it is dead, then that means something inside has leaked, corroded, snapped off inside, etc. You're more likely to do more damage while prising the thing open, and still be unable to fix it once you do.
Well to my knowledge you cant find one but i know you can make it
You put the battery back in and you charge it
take out the battery and put it back in.
No, But If Your PSP Freezes or something you can take out the battery then put it back in You Can Also Hold The power switch for about 10 sec. Justs restart the PSP and like taking out the battery!

To Work a Pandora's Battery (PSP) Just put it in. If that doesn't work then put the battery in hold R1 and still holding it switch psp on. IF YOUR PSP GETS BRICKED I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE. DO IT AT OWN RISK
I believe you are talking about the button that releases the battery cover, so you can get to the PSP's battery.
No, the PSP 1000 requires a higher amount of amperage. If you put a PSP 2000's battery in, it won't even turn on.
yes it will
yes it will but it will stick out a bit so u will not be able put the battery cover on.
A psp normal battery is a power device that is used specifically to power the device.A Pandora battery is a half battery that you use primarely to either: get into your psp hard drive, downgrade your pap, or enable your psp to put custom formware on it. Hope this helps!
