Locating the PCV valve is easy, just look behind the engine, next to the firewall, the space is cramp but you can get some pliers to unscrew the PCV or by hand if you can squeeze your hand in there. You dont even need to remove the engine cover get there, just take a look on the back wall next to the engine, the PCV is there. I changed mine a few months ago on a 2003, it suonded good but i just replaced it anyway. Good luck

The PCV valve on a Mazda 6 V6 is located on the valve cover near the back of the engine. The PCV valve is usually a plastic or metal part that looks like a small tube sticking up out of the valve cover.
