I personally have a Large Herniated Disc and several other problems with my back and was at one time prescribed Hydrocodone/APAP and Tramadol. Hydrocodone is a pain reliever that is the generic brand of Vicodin and Tramadol the generic brand of Ultram that is used to treat moderate and severe pain and treats neuropathic pain. I mixed the two only after contacting my local 24 hour pharmacy, and they assured me it was safe, but that the mixture of the 2 medications will cause extreme drowsiness. The combination worked pretty well for me. But as always, talk to your doctor(s) and pharmacist prior to taking anything.
No, do not mix the two, Tramadol will react to the Flexeril.
See your Doctor.

Yes you can mix. My doctor just gave me those 2 drugs for my tailbone pain. EXACTLY 10mg of Flexeril and 50mg of the Tramadol. I also take Welbutrin so that is safe as well to mix. If it was not safe I doubt she would give it to me. the pain clinic I go to is very conservative with drugs. They give drugs only if you are on some program that uses mind over matter as well. They never give drugs alone AND not for a prolonged period.
But as with anything make sure your doc knows about every med you are taking.
Flexeril and Tramadol are sometimes combined for moderate for sever Back pain. There is an interaction that increases the effect. The combination also has a high risk of seizure and should be monitored carefully. It's worked fine with me. Do not take it with a MAO inhibitor or if you have heart problems. Tramadol and Flexeril are addictive and should only be used for 2-3 weeks. I've been using for 6 months with no issues.
You can take Tramadol if you have taken hydrocodone but the risk of seizure is much higher. Tramadol alone poses a higher risk for seizures by lowering your seizure threshold. So tramadol combined with hydrocodone does increase the risk for seizures. The half life of hydrocodone is 3.3 to 3.4 hours and a pill can have up to five half lives. So if you must take tramadol while on hydrocodone try to wait at least 4 hours between times. You can take Tramadol if you have taken hydrocodone but the risk of seizure is much higher. yes you can it feels great i hear and if you have pain it works twice as good for the pain. just watch out for the seizure thingy. I believe seizures will only occur if you overdose on too much tramadol.
posabli mabi me usli du take em 2gethr tho thr iz dab8 an speacul8n dat tramadol hic hav lil bita naloxon n it me seam ta like da buz thai both gv 2gethr
Paroxetine (Pazil) can be taken with medications containing hydrocodone. Ultram (tramadol) is a selective mu-agonist and will compete for binding sites with hydrocodone, so it's really best NOT to take them together.
No, they are two separate medications. Hydrocodone is a narcotic medication, and Tramadol is considered NOT to be narcotic.
Not quite, tramadol gives you a more energetic upbeat feeling, whereas hydrocodone is more relaxed. If it is pain reduction your after it depends on the amount of pain, and if your just looking to get stoned Tramadol is useless.
NO! Tramdol is a separate drug completely. Tramadol is the generic chemical drug name for ULTRAM which is used for low-moderate pain. Hydrocodone is prescribed for Moderate-Severe pain.
yes because there is a major drug interaction between hydrocodone and tramadol. Mind you that tramadol gives many people nausea.
No. Ultram is tramadol HCL. It is a completely different drug that hydrocodone (Vicodin) with a different therapeutic action. Standard dose for standard dose, hydrocodone is somewhat more powerful than tramadol.
You should not be taking hydrocodone with tramadol(Ultram), hydrocodone(Vicodin)is an MU agonist, tramadol is a partial MU agonist, if you build any kind of a tolerance with the hydrocodone and then take tramadol(50mg)it will/can initiate opiate withdrawl syndrome almost instantly! You'll be very, very unhappy if this were to occur.
Any narcotic and some non-narcotic painkillers could replace Tramadol. Some examples are hydrocodone, or codeine.
Does hydrocodone and tramadol shoe same results in a urine drug test
CAN TRAMADOL AN CO-CODOMOL BE TAKEN TOGETHER
could someone tell me if you can take tramadol and benztropine together
Tramadol isn't a narcotic. You can become addicted to hydrocodone. Not tramadol so much.
