The placements have always been fantastic as far as EARTH SCIENCES ARE CONCERNED, with a no. of foreign enterprises visiting the campus every year and offering excellent packages (44 lacs (petroleum), 32 lacs(mining))....
The placements were a concern for newly opened branches (CSE, ELEX,etc.) in the beginning; but last year (2007), ano. of good companies visited the campus.... The situation has improved further with MICROSOFT slated to visit this year ...
