No, it will give an error message asking for the unlock code. Once you get that error, you screwed up the sim and it will not work in either phone again. Nextel does not have the unlock code, Motorola made the phones that way. Motorola will not provide the code either.
i880 is from nextel and if you put your sim card from nextel service in to a nextel blackberry it should work .

Yes a blackberry would work with boostmobile but it has to be Nextel due to that boostmobile sims are not Gsm ... boost could only use certain nextel phones . but has a blackberry 8330 under sprint network with out walkie talkie but its Great services. 3g internet and only 60$ a month. no roaming , reconection fee only state and local taxes.
easy, all you have to do is put the sim card in the phone, and it should start working, if it doesn't then go to your boost dealer and tell them your problem
Boost mobile sim cards will only work with boost mobile on the nextel network nextel is a iden network standalone that will not roam on gsm networks because nextel is a iden network

No, it will give an error message asking for the unlock code. Once you get that error, you screwed up the sim and it will not work in either phone again and it locks up your phone and it cannot be unlocked. Nextel does not have the unlock code, Motorola made the phones that way.
