You can use Cocoa Butter or Shea Butter, they are both very good for aftercare. Many people are using the wrong aftercare these days. Many people are still using petrolium based products such as A&D ointment, Bacitracin and Neosporin. These are some of the worst aftercare products to use on your Tattoo. They do not absorb into the skin to condition it, they sit on top. Think of it as a liquid saran wrap. Your tattoo must be able to breath in order to heal. Covering your tattoo with anything like saran wrap, bandages, or a petroleum product can have a drawing effect and cause color loss in your Tattoo. Also, many people breakout with the use of petroleum products. Here is a couple of things to avoid when looking for a Tattoo Aftercare ointment
Petroleum
Lanolin
Mineral Oil
Colors
Artificial Preservatives
Parabens
Fragrances
Any form of Citrus oils
Sunscreen

Pecans are native to the central and eastern parts of the United States and parts of Mexico. Its earliest history can be traced to the 16th century. Back then, the nuts were named pecan -- a Native American term that described, "nuts that need a stone to crack it." I cannot find the term, "shay" associated with pecans. There is a shea tree that is native to Africa. The shea fruit contains an oily seed which is used to make shea butter. Shea butter is used in creams, lotions, and cosmetics.

YES, Shea butter is a GREAT all natural moisturizer and pomade
cocoa butter or shea butter both work.
AnswerShea butter is the oil extracted from shea nuts. It is known especially for its cosmetic properties as a moisturizer and emollient.
Shea butter is a great after sun care moisturizer, but the butter alone does not contain enough SPF agents to effectively protect the skin if worn alone. However the butter is potent enough to help ease sunburns by regenerating cells that are cooked during sun bathing. Use unrefined shea butter not the refined one.
no,it just improves your skin condition and are used for other good stuff When any good quality moisturizer (including Shea butter and ones containing Shea butter as an ingredient) is applied to dry skin, the skin takes on a smoother look, as the flakiness appears white (or light) the skin appears to be darker. Shea butter does not darken the skin.
Shea butter is a slightly yellowish or ivory colored natural fat extracted from the seed of the shea tree by crushing and boiling. Shea butter is widely used in cosmetics as a moisturizer and salve. Shea butter is also grade edible; used in food preparation as well as sometimes in the chocolate industry substituting for cocoa butter. It is an acclaimed natural butter derived from the Shea tree growing across Africa. The shea tree produces its first fruit (which resemble large plums) when it is about 20 years old and reaches its full production when the tree is about 45 years old. It produces nuts for up to 200 years after reaching maturity.
Lotions with cocoa butter can help with tanning. Products with shea butter mimics sunscreen.

An extract from the nut of the African shea tree. Derived mainly from stearic acid and aleic acid. It is widely used in cosmetics. Mainly used as a moisturizer.
Fat cells are made up mainly of two types of molecules known as, fatty acids and glycerol. Fatty acids can either be saturated or unsaturated. Saturated fatty acids tend to have no double bonds, as a result they are linear. It is easy for the saturated fatty acids to pack more tightly together and be solid in room temperature (lard for example). Whereas, unsaturated fatty acids are not linear and therefore tend to be liquid at room temperature. Vegetable oil is a type of unsaturated fatty acid obtained from a variety of plants. In other words a fat is solid and vegetable oil is liquid at room temperature, but both are composed of triglycerides (a long-term energy storage for animals, which is stored in fat cells in adipose tissue).Hope that helps! (:
The types of body butter by the Body Shop that are best for very dry skin are the ones that contain shea butter because these have added moisturizer in them.
There are a number of different things you can try. There are over the counter remedies such as Shea butter and Cocoa butter and then there are more invasive treatments such as lasers and microdermabrasion
