Sounds like a timing problem. Your belt may have slipped or broke. try to remove part of the front cover over the belt and look as someone trys to start it. if the belt doesn't move, it's broke. You can also chech the timing by turning the motor by hand until the timing marks are lined up. the number one piston should be at the top of it's stroke. If it isn't then it's jumped time.

First check for fire at any of the sparkplugs and if you have spark then check your fuel pressure and if its not within specs then replace the pump.
