Highly unlikely. If it persists go to the doctor. Both caffeine and carbonation can be GI irritants -- particularly in large quantities. Persons with IBD may experience lower Back pain when irritants are introduced.

Yes! I have had lower back pain for aobut 6 years, every time I drink. I have been for all sorts of tests and everything is fine...I think it is my kidneys working overtime...scary stuff I am trying to stop drinking.

Probrably not in my opinion, But the Government in not so many words are considering making the drinking age 21 because most people go out a lot when there 18 to get drunk.
