Sounds like a slightly irregular menstrual period. The brown is more than likely old blood, and the pink a mixture of fresher blood and regular clear discharge that your vagina uses to keep itself moist, and healthy. If it's not a clearish-pink, then you might have fresh blood mixing with a bit of whitish discharge from a yeast infection, which is easily treated with OTC medications. This is only my guess from experience, you should always see a doctor if you feel that something more is wrong. Sounds like a slightly irregular menstrual period. Can you start cramping as soon as you concive?

It is unlikely that you would begin cramping right away. The first cramping you should notice would be around the time of your implantation bleeding.

You are 6.5 weeks pregnant and you have very faint light brownish spotting but you have low HCG levels?

Yes, I have. I was 7 weeks and 5 days pregnant when that started. I was told by my doctor that it was likely old blood that was being discarded and that it was nothing to worry about. In my heart this didn't feel right so I requested a sonogram. Sadly, the sonogram revealed that the pregnancy failed (there was no heart beat). So, for me, the spotting and mucus which was accompanied by mild cramping was a sign that my uterus was trying to abort the pregnancy.

Does the ovaries in the women make the placenta?

No - the placenta grows around the fetus in the uterus as part of the pregnancy. The ovaries just supply hormones and the egg that gets fertilized.

Is cramping 2 weeks before your period a sign of pregnancy?

Not usually. It depends on the length of your mentrual cycle, though sometimes its hard to determine how long your cycle lasts esp. if you're young and periods aren't yet regular, but as a general rule cramping 2 weeks before your period simply means you are ovulating. Just before and around Ovulation is the time you are most likely to fall pregnant (roughly 10-16 days after your last period started).
