It has been rumored that Queen Elizabeth cared nothing for hygiene so never even bothered to look into the mirror. No one knows for certain if this is true.
she brushed he teeth with suger because she thought that only rich people do that that is why her teeth were black
Queen Elizabeth I (1533 - 1603) had very bad teeth and used to pad her mouth out with cotton. As dental hygiene was pretty well non-existent in those days, I would imagine that not only did the Queen's breath stink, but that most of her courtiers had stinky breath too!
of course, just like everybody else!
Eccentric major league pitcher Steven John "Turk" Wendell would brush his teeth between innings.
Not the way we do. They used willow twigs and beech tree twigs to clean the teeth. Actually, they work pretty well because there is a chemical in them that does well when chewed and helps the teeth. There are people today who still use this old method. They don't need too either, we brought teeth brushing on ourselfs by eating and drinking sugary foods and drinks, bread helps break down plaque. The method above would be reccomended to a peasant and it helped keep their breath fresh. A wife could devorse a man for having bad breath!
Bathe, wash your hair, brush your hair, brush your teeth.
Health manuals and conduct books from the time reveal that teeth were cleaned with water, salt, rosemary or even cuttlefish, rubbed on with cloths, twigs or sponges. I have also read that Queen Elizabeth I used sugar (which was insanely expensive and used typically in very small amounts as medicine) to brush her teeth.
we would have no water to drink to bathe in in brush are teeth
Queen Elizabeth the First did not have wooden teeth. She died in 1603 and the first use of false teeth was not documented until the 18th Century
we would have no water to drink to bathe in in brush are teeth
we would have no water to drink to bathe in in brush are teeth
Yes, In Tudor times sugar was expensive so people despretely wanted to sell it to get money so they made a myth about sugar being good for your teeth
Queen Elizabeth did not have wooden teeth. Her teeth were rotten and black due to the fact that there were no toothbrushes or toothpastes.
In Tudor times, the Royals used tootpaste made from sugar....thats why Queen Elizabeth I had black teeth!
no clean water to drink, bathe, brush teeth and so on .you must prevent this from happening
No, Queen Elizabeth does not have false teeth. Probably due to the fact that she receives the very best of medical and dental treatment going.
Im guessing your trying to ask, What would happen if you didn't brush your teeth? Well, take a guess. If YOU dont shower or bathe, you begin to smell and be all dirty. Your hair begins to fall out because your roots aren't strong enough. You have bald spots. If you dont brush your TEETH, Your MOUTH begins to smell and be all dirty. your TEETH begin to fall out because the roots aren't strong enough. You get HOLES in your TEETH!!! So I kind of hope YOU brush your teeth. L8R ~Heather552
