Best Answer

Not all of Jehovah's Witnesses experience God's "anointing". This is because Jehovah's Witnesses believe that only those who are going to heaven will receive this "anointing".

Those who are not going to heaven will have an opportunity to live forever in a paradise on earth, as Jesus promised.

No Jehovah's witnesses don't believe anything happens after death so they do not feel the need to have and 'rituals' when a loved ones dies however they will have a funeral. How can you tell an apostate Jehovah's Witness?

Jehovah's Witnesses feel that someone has become an "apostate" if they were once a baptized member of their religion that not only left the religion, but actively and purposely sought to either make the religion appear evil, or draw others out of the religion as well. They feel this is the act of sinning against the holy spirit as described at Matthew 12:31,32. If someone identifies themselves as a former member of the religion, and is actively trying to turn other people away from the religion, that would be a way to identify what Jehovah's Witnesses would consider an apostate.

If a Lutheran Step Mother dies and has Jehovah Witnesses as stepchildren will they attend the funeral?

It's up to the Jehovah's Witness, they may feel more comfortable just attending refreshments afterwards, or they may feel okay with going to the service. Also depends on how close they were to that family member. There would be little point in a JW going to the church funeral of someone they had little to do with, however if they were a close relative I can't see why they wouldn't attend. Up to their own conscience.
