If a Lutheran Step Mother dies and has Jehovah Witnesses as stepchildren will they attend the funeral?

It's up to the Jehovah's Witness, they may feel more comfortable just attending refreshments afterwards, or they may feel okay with going to the service. Also depends on how close they were to that family member. There would be little point in a JW going to the church funeral of someone they had little to do with, however if they were a close relative I can't see why they wouldn't attend. Up to their own conscience.

Not that I am aware of. Jehovah's Witnesses do not engage in ritualistic practices involved with visiting the dead corpse in some countries such as in Africa, where their might be spiritistic practices associated with visiting the dead corpse. See Revelation 21:8. Other than that, Jehovah's Witnesses, have no barriers with funerals. When the funeral might be in a church, it is up the individual conscience of each Witness whether or not he will attend the funeral there.

If u go during one of their meetings you can ask someone there. --Edit-- You can often find a contact number for your local congregation in the phone book for your area. Non-Witnesses are always welcome at the Kingdom Hall, and you will be made especially welcome if you are attending a funeral of a loved one who was a Witness. --End Edit--

Jehovah's Witnesses do not wear a uniform or have a formal dress code. With that said we recognize that we carry the name of the Almighty God Jehovah and we dress and groom accordingly. It would be no different than if we were called to meet before the President of the US or leader of another country, we would dress in our very best. If a non member were to attend a funeral dressed in slacks they would not be looked down upon but warmly welcomed. We imitate Jesus in showing love and respect for our neighbors.

Edited to add that while Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians, we do not use the cross symbol in our worship. So if you do send flowers to a memorial service/funeral for one of Jehovah's Witnesses, please do not send one that is shaped like a cross. We would certainly appreciate the sentiment, but would not display such an arrangement.
