it depends
... on a lot of things. Parents have the ability to veto a lot of legal choices for a minor, for instance. Or, if a kid chooses not to eat because of anorexia, the parent can choose to take them to a hospital and get them force-fed. Or if a kid chooses to overdose and lives, the parents can choose to admit them to a mental health clinic or get them other help to overcome their problems. There are usually some pretty good reasons why kids can't make all their own legal decisions. But if you are honest and open with your parents, hopefully on most things, they'll understand and respect your choice. It doesn't always work, but it is worth a try. Parents have been children. They know when it is easy to make mistakes. Might as well take advantage of that experience.
No, the children have the right to live that lifestyle. I'd just accept it for what it is.
If you have joint legal custody yes you do have the right to help choose who cares for your children. The parents should discuss the issue reasonably and try to agree. If you have joint legal custody yes you do have the right to help choose who cares for your children. Whether 13 and 15 year old children have the right to choose where they want to live, will depend on what state you live in and what state the divorce was finalized in. A judge will almost always take in to consideration the feelings of the children. In a majority of the US states, children have the right to choose which parent they want to live with beginning at age 12.ANSWEROnly two states allow a specific choice in this. See link below.
No this is why young children often do bad things and we must teach them right from wrong, So they can choose for themselves.
no the children should not have the right to pick the things they learn in school
It depends on whether the parents and children are in a certain religion. Because a few religions have the parents choosing life partners for their children. But if they haven't got a religion which says that they can choose their children's life partners, then it is wrong. At the end of the day, they can suggest who they want their kids to go with, but nothing more. Their children has the right to say who they want and who they don't, as ten to one they won't like the parent's choice.
The kid is not not an adult so the parents make the child's decision. But nothing says the parents will choose the right religion.
Not even if he did have parental rights. Children can have an opinion, but not a right to choose. see link below
